We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, but McDonald's
is our largest corporate donor. The local McDonald’s restaurants wholeheartedly support the Milwaukee Ronald McDonald House through various in-restaurant fundraising activities including Helping Hands, Day of Change and placing donation boxes in each restaurant to make it easy for the community to support our mission. Donations from these programs fund about 20 percent of our annual operating costs. The remainder of our annual operating income
comes from the generosity of individual and corporate donors.
Although McDonald’s is our largest corporate donor, no company can
solely fund our programs and projected growth. We need the support of the
entire community and greatly value any support you can afford to RMHC of Eastern Wisconsin, Inc., whether
it’s through cash donations, your time or fundraising efforts.
McDonald’s Corporation is a significant partner in many ways and provides a license agreement allowing us to use the trademarks of the corporation. However, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin, Inc. is individually owned and governed by a separate Board of Directors. We have established our own programs and policies to meet the needs of our families.
